Our venue began life as a Victorian furniture warehouse, before artists and creative businesses made it their home. It's huge, characterful and very colourful, with multiple spaces available for hire to suit all sorts of events (maximum capacity 300 people). If you're looking for an independently owned venue with a wealth of cultural significance that also happens to be conveniently located in Shoreditch, check out the following options for hiring one of our spaces.
Venue
Strongroom is a well-renowned music studio, and one of the last standing independent venues in Shoreditch. Our space has always been a welcoming environment for diversity and up-and-coming artists starting out in the world of music.
Whether your hosting a gig, album/EP launch, club night, panel discussions, awards ceremonies or anything else – we have you covered!
Upstairs
The upstairs space can be hired independently or as part of a full venue hire. It accommodates up to 80 guests standing.
Our original bar built in 1997, situated on the mezzanine level includes it’s own bar with an open kitchen. This space can be sectioned off from the rest of the public and has the option to include karaoke, acoustic performances and DJs.
This space can be perfect for corporate hires, filming locations, supper clubs, industry networking.
Courtyard
Our huge ivy-covered, fairy lit outdoor courtyard is perfect for your summer party. It can be weatherproofed according to forecast and will be fully heated in winter, so you can enjoy socialising under the stars all year around.
