More Info about our Sunday School Classes
£25 – includes all equipment, and you leave with approx 500g of hand made soap (approx 4 bars)
As seen in the Green Fields at this years Glastonbury festival, this workshop will teach you how to make real soap from scratch, from basic ingredients (not an instant ‘melt & pour’ soap base) and essential oils. Using a recycled juice carton as the mould and ‘carry home’ pack (the soap takes 24 hours to solidify), this workshop is all about making something real and eco friendly – no toxic chemicals or pollutants here!
These classes are about the soap-making method and so don’t include decorating with flower petals or using fancy moulds – you’ll be given a choice of essential oils to scent your soap and can colour it if you choose. You’ll come away with a finished soap block weighing about 500g, which will make 4 decent sized bars – perfect for Christmas Presents!. A full set of notes are supplied that will enable more soap-making at home and provide ‘after care’ instructions.
£10 – bring your own clothes – all other equipment provided
Fed up of today’s throwaway clothes mentality? Got some beloved clothes that have seen better days? Learn how to mend your own clothes! Come along with your favourite pair of jeans, your favourite jumper or anything else that needs some tender loving care and Charlene will show you how you can mend it using old techniques and some decorative techniques using embroidery threads and needle felting.
