SALT & DRY
Salt & Dry have landed at Strongroom for a three month residency and will be cooking an intercontinental canteen menu with a few surprises and lots of comfort!
From their own house cured bacon, clean-eating salads and vegetarian dishes to the best burger this side of L.A as well an extensive new Bites menu to satisfy all our bar guests – Salt & Dry will be serving breakfast, including a grab and go counter in the Rivington window serving fresh warm pretzels and chocolate ring doughnuts amongst other gems and an all day menu to cover all the bases. The new menu is bespoke for Strongroom and aims to offer something a bit different that fits the venue for residents and guests alike.
They will also be bringing their sub continental experience to bear to bring you a full authentic menu of dishes for our new curry club night ‘Ruby Tuesday’ (first tuesday of every month). Check the website for all the new menus.
Matt trained as a chef at St John and Hix (but used to be head of A&R at EMI Records and is a long time friend of the studios) and Sam manages the S&D kitchen and is a veteran of events country wide.
Salt & Dry is a busy bespoke event catering company, runs a fleet of extraordinary cooking vehicles, as well as designing menus for some of the city’s successful new restaurant launches, including Ethos, Rudies and Counter Kitchen. Their palette of dishes is truly international.
In the coming months, expect to find their burnt our Morris Minor chargrill / BBQ and the Mini Cooper tricked out with a pizza oven firing up in the yard and serving to inside and out.
